Group classes include Less Is More: Weight Loss for Women and Fit For Life: All-Inclusive Lifestyle Boot Camp.  Group classes are a great way to experience all the benefits of a coach (accountability, assessment, health plan design, and motivation) while paying less.

LESS IS MORE: WEIGHT LOSS FOR WOMEN Starts Friday, February 10th

Less Is More is an 11-week, 6-session weight loss program designed to help you lose weight by getting healthier.  This class will teach you how to eat right, move right, drink right, manage your stress, balance your hormones, overcome food cravings, and much more.

Next class starts February 10th at 10:30am.  Regular prices is $299; sign up with a friend and save an additional $50. Class meets every other week for a total of 6 sessions.

Less Is More Outline:

  • Week 1: BIA and Explanation, Nutrition and Your Health, FLT Menu Plan
  • Week 2: Quality & Timing of Food, Foundational Supplementation, Sleep

FIT 4 LIFE: LIFESTYLE BOOT CAMP

Fit 4 Life is designed to help you reach your full health potential by incorporating key health components into one all-inclusive class.  The class will run 8 weeks meeting 3 days per week for one hour each day.  Each client will receive personalized health coaching from both a personal trainer and nutritionist, along with the benefits of motivation and accountability that come with group exercise.  This program is being co-hosted by Pure Health and The Fixx.

The Logistics:

  • When: begins Monday, October 3rd, meets M,W,F from 7-8am for 8 consecutive weeks.
  • Location: The Fixx Workout Studio- 5004 Xerxes Ave. S, Minneapolis, 55410
  • Costs: $1,500 per person; sign up with a friend and save $200 each!

The Skinny:

  • Hard Core Workouts: 2 days per week consisting of strength and conditioning; one day per week consisting of a variety of other exercises (yoga, kettle bells, cardio/circuit, outside exercise, stretching, core work, dance, education), heart rate training to optimize each workout and avoid overtraining. We’ll train you no matter what fitness level you are at!
  • FLT Nutrition Plan: our personalized First Line Therapy nutrition plans will be tailored to address your specific health needs.  We will also assess 2 weeks of your food/lifestyle logs.
  • Detoxification: each participant will be required to do two detoxes during two separate weeks of the class.
  • Supplementation: foundational supplementation is important to your overall health and is therefore also included throughout the entire Fit 4 Life boot camp.
  • BIA: bioimpediance analysis is an easy, yet a very scientific and informative way, to track progress and measure health.  It measures body composition (fat and muscle mass), water distribution (water inside and outside of the cells, which is an indication of inflammation and acid), and phase angle (a measurement of overall health).  The test is painless and can be done in the comfort of our facilities.  This boot camp will include 3 BIA’s (weeks 1, 4, and 8) throughout the course of the class.

Each participant will be required to own a heart rate monitor.  Additional commitment, outside the time spent as a group, will include doing 2 interval cardio sessions per week (on your own), keeping a lifestyle log, and adhering to the FLT nutrition plan and supplement and detoxification guidelines.  Registration and BIA’s will be preformed the week prior to the class starting.
