Day 60 – Rest
Today I stayed home with my boys, like most Thursdays.  Therefore, I did not plan to workout in the gym.  But as any stay-at-home parent knows, a day with three young boys is anything but restful :)   I love my days home with the boys, and I am pretty sure they do too.  I am really lucky to have the ability to not work once a week and spend that day with them.  They grow up so fast and I am getting to experience things I would not otherwise be able to.

Day 61 – Legs & Shoulders
Today I did a quick and effcient workout with Mike.  I had about 40 minutes to hit them both, so it was a higher intensity workout with little rest periods.
- 3 Minute Warm-Up: Jump Rope
- 2 Minute Stretch: Upper and Lower Body
- Walking Lunges w/ Overhead Dumbbell: 25 x 12, 25 x 12, 25 x 12
- Barbell Shoulder Press: 65 x 12, 65 x 12, 65 x 12
- Dumbbell Romanian Deadlifts: 50s x 10, 50s x 10, 50s x 10
- Barbell Upright Row/Slow Hang Clean: 65 x 10, 65 x 10, 65 x 10
- Box Jumps (#4 size box): BW x 10, BW x 10, BW x 10
- Jacknife Push-Ups/Pike Presses: BW x 10, BW x 10
I went from exercise to exercise with just a little football trash talking in between.  Mike and I like to compare the Bears and Lions, often making predictions about the playoffs.  So basically I had about 30 seconds rest between.

Day 62 – Trained 23 Clients In 9 Hours
Today was my Workout & Feed The Hungry Food Drive.  It was a great success and I trained 9 hours worth of clients.  Most of the sessions had 3 people participating and we raised 208 food items and $45 for the Groveland Food Shelf in Minneapolis.  I have not trained 9 hours of clients in over 6 years, so I felt a little tired by the end of the night.

Day 63 – Rest
I woke up Sunday morning knowing I had trained 9 hours, since my feet, traps, and lower back was sore.  Also, my postural muscles were tight since I was on my feet and very physically acitve for 10 hours.  I think I will be 100% tomorrow morning which is when I will start my explosive week of training.  I am looking forward to 3 days of explosive/power training before we head to Illinois for the holiday.  While traveling I expect to do a few interval workouts and I will bring our TRX straps and do a couple bodyweight strength workouts.
